Last weekend, with no childrens birthday parties booked or clients to guide, we took the family to one of the regions we love sharing with our guests. The headwaters of the Rakaia River in Mid Canterbury offers so much as far as stunning scenery,

wonderful walks and above all, plenty of wide open spaces!
To us, the guiding business is about taking our clients to places within Canterbury that are special to us…that way we can share them with our clients and in turn, let them experience some of that enjoyment.
Our children love roaming the wide open spaces and helping to feed any number of animals inlcuding pigs, chickens and even the occasional horse. Not to mention the literally thousands of sheep and cattle that call this wonderful landscape home.
